Priorities
As your trustee, through my words and actions I will continue to:
- Promote, preserve and protect Catholic Education and our constitutional rights
- Work diligently to ensure that all YCDSB schools are Catholic communities, directed by the Gospel, that foster student success, good citizenship and service to others
- Demand fiscal accountability and transparency, while seeking new efficiencies in order to maximize resource allocation to the classroom
- Value, encourage and facilitate parent and student input to Board decisions
- Collaborate to strengthen parish/school relationships
- Support the implementation of a fortified Board Mental Health Strategy
- Remain approachable and easily accessible to constituents, School Councils, parents and students in Markham Area 1
